For this first time in modern history, it’s wholly inadvisable to pass pipes with your friends on 4/20.

A pandemic has stymied the cannabis plant’s fêted day – one especially momentous due to it occurring on the 20th year of the millennium: 4/20/20. Because any activity heavily involving hands, mouths, and saliva is highly discouraged, this won’t be the most social 4/20, but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring. Try christening a brand new pipe.

I’m not recommending you leave home to purchase a new smoking apparatus – please don’t. I’m asking you to join me in producing a pipe out of produce. Go into the kitchen, grab a fun fruit or vegetable, something sharp, something pokey, and let’s get creative. Happy 4/20!
