Learn to Make the Omni's Salted Watermelon Spritz Recipe

And three other fruity spritzes for summer (hotel not included)

While sipping something fruity and boozy hotel poolside sounds like a real slice of heaven, for now we’ll have to settle for homemade spritzers and faceplanting on the backyard sprinkler.

Enter Austin’s Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. They've sent along four spritz recipes, adapted from their new Summer of Spritz menu, that you can make with your own two damn hands.

Salted Watermelon Spritz

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Patron Silver
0.75 oz lime juice
1 oz Finest Call Watermelon Puree
Top with Q club soda
Garnish: salted rim & watermelon slice

Directions:
1.       Wet half of pool cup with lime and into kosher salt.
2.       Fill with ice and add all the ingredients.
3.       Roll into a mixing tin and back into cup.
4.       Garnish and serve.

Lemon Lavender Spritz

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka
0.75 oz Monin Lavender Syrup
0.25 oz Honey Syrup (2:1)
Top with San Pellegrino Essenza Lemon Zest
Garnish: lemon wheel

Directions:
1.       Combine vodka and syrups in an iced pool cup.
2.       Roll contents into mixing tin and back into cup.
3.       Garnish and serve.

Vanilla Coffee Spritz

Ingredients:
1 oz Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
1 oz Monin Vanilla Syrup
2 oz chilled coffee
Top with Q soda water

Directions:
1.       Combine all ingredients in pool cup with ice.
2.       Roll ingredients into mixing tin and back into cup.
3.       Serve.

Green Apple Spritzer

Ingredients:
1 oz Jack Daniels Apple
0.5 oz Carpano Dry Vermouth
1 oz Monin Green Apple Syrup
1.5 oz Lunetta Prosecco
Top with Q Club soda
Garnish: apple slices

Directions:
1.       Combine all ingredients in pool cup with ice.
2.       Roll contents into mixing tin and back into cup.
3.       Garnish and serve.
